Shark Hole is a secluded rocky inlet north of Catherine Hill Bay on the NSW Central Coast, shaped by the region’s dramatic sandstone cliffs and relentless Pacific swell. The surrounding coastline forms part of the historic Catherine Hill Bay landscape, an area strongly associated with coal mining and maritime activity from the late 19th century, while much of its rugged coastal character remains intact today.
